A friend of mine came up with a neat concept, fish flavored bacon!
It was awful!
How does this happen? I’ll tell you. When you don’t clean your grill, all the flavors transfer from what you cooked before to what you are cooking now.
I make a point to clean my grill in between each cook.
When you make the time and effort to cure and smoke a piece of bacon, the last thing you want is for it to come out tasting like the last thing you smoked on your cooker.
In this case, fish. And the finished product is fish flavored bacon.
